Gregory van der Wiel has expressed his disappointment after Paris Saint-Germain were held to a draw by Lille on Sunday.
Having initially taken the lead through Zlatan Ibrahimovic, the champions were forced to come from behind to earn a 2-2 draw at Parc des Princes thanks to a Thiago Silva equaliser that leaves PSG three points clear at the top of the league at the halfway stage of the season.
"We are a little disappointed because we controlled the match from start to finish," Van der Wiel told the club's official website. "We carved out a lot of scoring chances but unfortunately we conceded those two goals.
"We certainly deserved the three points, but at the end of the day it finished in a draw. Now we can relax before preparing for the second half of the season."
PSG's next match comes after the winter break when they travel to Ajaccio on January 11.
