Paris Saint-Germain have booked their place in the Coupe de la Ligue final by beating Lille 1-0 this evening.
Edinson Cavani had an early chance to give PSG the lead when he was picked out inside the box by Marquinhos, before blazing an effort well wide.
The Uruguayan had another sight of goal soon after, but his drilled effort from the edge of the area was well held by Vincent Enyeama.
PSG continued to dominate and they took the lead in the 27th minute, when Maxwell was found at the back post by Cavani before lashing a powerful strike into the roof of the net.
Antonio Mavuba had a rare sight of goal for Lille before half time, but his long-range effort flew wide of the post as the visitors held on to their lead going into the break.
After the break, Lille saw plenty of the ball, but they struggled to test visiting keeper Nicolas Douchez.
Despite a sustained period of late pressure from the hosts, PSG managed to hold firm and seal their place in the final for a second season running.
The holders will now look to defend their trophy against the winners of Monaco and Bastia's clash, which takes place tomorrow evening.
