Inter Miami have reportedly failed with their bid to sign Paris Saint-Germain forward Edinson Cavani.
With his contract due to expire at the Parc des Princes at the end of the season, the 32-year-old is currently contemplating his options.
Ahead of their first campaign in the MLS, David Beckham's Inter Miami had hoped to make Cavani one of their high-profile additions.
However, according to L'Equipe, the 32-year-old has made the decision to reject the American side's advances.
The report adds that the Uruguay international wants to continue to represent a top European side, whether that be PSG or one of their continental rivals.
Manager Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged that he would like to keep Cavani in France's capital.
