AS Monaco striker Kylian Mbappe is just a matter of days away from joining Paris Saint-Germain in a £183m transfer, according to a report.
The France international burst onto the scene with a number of eye-catching displays last season, netting 26 goals in his breakthrough campaign at the Stade Louis II.
Real Madrid were seen as the strong favourites to sign Mbappe earlier in the summer, but after cooling their interest PSG are now understood to have a clear run to sign the teenage ace.
Catalan newspaper Mundo Deportivo suggests that a deal is on the brink of being struck, with the Parisians prepared to pay £165m up front and the remainder in add-ons.
Should the deal go through Mbappe would become the second-most expensive player of all time, behind £200m forward Neymar who completed his switch from Barcelona to the Parc des Princes earlier this month.
