PSV Eindhoven came from behind to beat SBV Excelsior 3-2 thanks to a last-minute Jurgen Locadia winner.
The visitors thought that they had taken the lead when Luciano Narsingh's effort went towards goal, but it did not cross the line before it was cleared.
Excelsior took the lead after half time when Sander Fischer scrambled the ball in following a corner, but that awoke the champions, who hit the bar through Luuk de Jong and the post through Jetro Willems.
They found an equaliser minutes later as Georginio Wijnaldum converted from close range after De Jong headed the ball across goal.
However, Excelsior retook the lead from the penalty spot after Nicolas Isimat-Mirin committed a foul in the area.
The defender was shown a second yellow card, before Jeff Stans scored from the spot.
Their lead did not last long, though, as Memphis Depay curled a fine free kick into the back of the net, before Jocadia won the match for PSV in injury time.
