Huddersfield Town loanee Jack Robinson has returned to parent club Queens Park Rangers after suffering a serious knee injury.
The defender is expected to be sidelined for between nine months and a year with the injury he sustained during the 1-1 draw at Birmingham City last weekend.
"We're all extremely sad to hear of the extent of Jack's injury. He's been great for us this season and it's a real blow that he will be out of action," Huddersfield boss Chris Powell told the club's website.
"Everyone at Huddersfield Town wishes Jack the quickest possible recovery; we're all looking forward to seeing him back on the pitch."
Robinson started 31 times for the Terriers during his loan stint.
