Chris Ramsey has insisted that his players are ready to fight for their place in the Premier League.
Queens Park Rangers have lost their last four matches, leaving them 19th in the table ahead of this weekend's match against Everton at Loftus Road.
The head coach also revealed that he has a relatively healthy squad for the match.
Read what else Ramsey discussed below.
Well that's all from Ramsey for now, so make sure you join is on Sunday to see whether QPR can avoid a fifth defeat in a row in the Premier League. Until then, thanks for joining me this morning. Goodbye!
Ramsey insists that he is happy with the team's performances recently, despite the results: "All in all, barring a poor spell at Palace, I think the performances in general have been good. We need to get back on the horse the weekend to give the fans something to shout about."
Ramsey goes into a bit more detail on his squad's injuries, revealing: "Mauricio Isla trained earlier this week, but was rested yesterday. We'll have to see how he is ahead of Sunday. Mauricio is desperate to play, and hopefully he will be fit for the weekend. Darnell Furlong has a calf injury, that's why we had to take him off against Palace, but I'm hoping he will be fit. It's great that Ale Faurlin is back in training, it's fantastic to see him back out there. Dunne and Leroy Fer are doing everything they can to get fit as soon as possible, they've even doing double sessions some days to get fit. We've had a tough time with injuries, but we've got a squad of 25, that's why it's there, I'm never going to complain."
Ramsey tells the media that he believes his side can secure enough wins to stay up: "All we can do is go out on Sunday and give our best, and stay focused and concentrated for the whole game to get a win. I still think we can get the wins we need and stay up. We all believe we can still do it. It's been a tough baptism for me, but an experience that I am enjoying."
QPR struggled in the first half against Palace last week, but were a better side in the second half, and Ramsey reveals that was down to a half-time discussion: "There was a constructive headed discussion at half time at Palace, and I thought we improved after. The players do self-police things well here, we've got an experience group of players in that respect. It was all very constructive and I think that helps."
Another talking point over the last couple of weeks has been players surrounding the referee during key decision. Ramsey believes it happens when players get frustrated: "When the stakes are high, people get frustrated and that's possibly why players are surrounding referees these days. I think it's a combination of that and the fact technology can be looked at immediately, and that heightens the anxiety."
There's been a lot of speculation about QPR striker Charlie Austin being named in England's squad for the internationals at the end of the month. With the squad announcement imminent, Ramsey says: "Charlie Austin is a quality player, if he gets an England call-up we'll all be delighted for him. I'm sure he will be in the reckoning for the squad. We haven't heard anything yet but we hope he will be involved. He's the kind of quality player who will shine wherever he plays. Charlie's work rate is unbelievable and he has the uncoachable thing, which is scoring goals."
Turning his attention to this weekend's opponents, Ramsey says: "We know we're coming up against a good side in Everton. The quality of their players and manager is right up there. I'm not sure Everton being in Europe tonight will play into our hands, they've got a very big and strong squad."
Sticking with the threat of relegation, Ramsey insists that his players are ready for the fight, telling reporters: "There's players here who have been through this before. Hopefully those past experiences will help us. We will stay together as a squad and as a club. We need to cut out the basic errors and focus on the task in hand."
Ramsey is asked about his squad selection policy, and he admits: "My decisions regarding picking the players I've picked is down to many factors, form, injuries etc. The players do have the belief, they turn up everyday, they're professional and they want to get us out of this."
Looking back at last week's 3-1 defeat to Crystal Palace, Ramsey says: "The players have got to pick themselves up. We've re-grouped and we have to go again to get where we need to get to. There were a few things we didn't stick to against Palace, but we're still in it and we believe we can get out of it. I've been very happy with the way the players have responded this week. We all want to retain our Premier League status."
Ramsey starts by providing a brief update on his squad: "The longstanding injuries are still there. We've got a few knocks, but we should have quite a fit squad for Sunday."
Right then, Ramsey has just arrived for his press conference, so let's see what's on his mind this week...
While we continue to wait for Ramsey, who seems to be running a couple of minutes late this morning, why not have a browse of our stats centre, which doesn't make great reading for QPR fans. The Hoops have the worst defence in the league, conceding 52 goals so far this season, and average just a goal per game, putting them 14th in attack.
We'll have live coverage of this match, plus every other Premier League fixture taking place this weekend, from an hour prior to kickoff, as well as loads of build up, team news, post-match reaction and loads more, so make sure you join us on Sunday to see if QPR can end their run of losses.
QPR will be hoping that Everton come into this match tired, as they're in Ukraine tonight for their Europe League match against Dynamo Kiev. While Roberto Martinez has a big enough squad to rotate his players, the trip is not a short one, and will surely have an impact on those that do play this evening.
Richard Dunne is another player that's been missing recently, but as you can see here, he's been working hard in a big to get back on the pitch:
The team have been missing a number of players in recent weeks, but captain Joey Barton can come back in for this match after serving a three-match ban for receiving a red card. The team will also have been boosted by Alejandro Faurlin's return to training following a serious knee injury. The Argentine won't play again this season, but his presence will surely help lift the team.
It has been a difficult run for QPR since Ramsey's appointment last month. The team have lost four league matches in a row, although they've scored in each of those matches, and their only victory in nine came against struggling Sunderland. It's a tricky run-in for the team in the final couple of months of the season, with matches against last season's top three still to come, and a potentially relegation-deciding clash with Leicester City on the final day of the campaign.
Good morning! Queens Park Rangers head coach Chris Ramsey will be speaking to the media shortly as he prepares his side for the visit of Everton in the Premier League this weekend.
