Good morning! Chris Ramsey will be speaking to the media shortly as he prepares his side for the trip to Liverpool in the Premier League this weekend. His side sit four points from safety heading into the match, but have lost just once in their last four outings.

Last weekend saw the Hoops share a goalless draw with West Ham United at Loftus Road, but they could have claimed all three points as top scorer Charlie Austin missed a penalty in that match.

There's an added incentive for QPR to put in a good performance this weekend. Not only do they need the points to boost their chances of avoiding the drop to the Championship, but it's the chairman's birthday too:

Unlike their opponents, QPR have had a full week to prepare for this match, having not been in action during the week. That should be a big advantage for QPR, as they have been struggling with a number of injuries in recent weeks, but a several members of their squad are believed to be close to a return. Ramsey will hopefully be giving us a full update on the team's fitness this morning.

QPR still have some difficult fixtures to come before the end of the season. Next weekend, they go to current champions Manchester City, before finishing with matches against Newcastle United and Leicester City on the final day of the season.

Transfer talk could also come up this morning, with the club having been linked with Bournemouth striker Callum Wilson this week. Chris Ramsey knows that his job is safe if he keeps the club up, but it's uncertain whether he'll remain at the club if they're relegated, so whether or not he'll be in charge during the transfer window is another matter.

Starting with a squad update, Ramsey says: "Our usual injury list is out there, but I'm glad to say most of our players that played at the weekend are fit enough to be involved against Liverpool."

He adds: "Bobby [Zamora] has had a long-term injury that he's been playing with, but I'm really happy that he's got himself out there to try and help us."

Ramsey insists that morale is still high at the club: "They're training very hard, the players. They were a bit deflated at the beginning of the week because they thought they'd done enough to win at the weekend, but the mood around the place has been quite good."

Ramsey believes that his side can cause an upset: "We do believe we can stay up, we know it's going to be a very difficult task, but everyone's up for it. One of the great things about the Premier League, there are no easy games. It's different to a lot of leagues around the world. Any team can beat any team at any time."

Ramsey watched relegation rivals Leicester City play Chelsea last night, and admits: "They're going to be very difficult to play against. We're going to have to be on it right from the start to the end. They have a great coaching staff, working hard to make sure that they stay in the league."

Following Nigel Pearson's bizarre post-match comments last night, Ramsey is asked about the pressure on managers, and he says: "I think every manager will feel the pressure. The pressure is about the people around you. You want to do well for the people around you, the fans, the owners. How can you keep everyone in work? That's from my point of view how I see the pressure."

Sticking with pressure, he adds: "I think all of us in the lower part of the division are feeling it. Until you're mathematically clear you're always going to think why didn't we get these points."

Ramsey goes into detail about some of the injuries affecting his squad: "Charlie's been fine. We haven't really spoke about him leaving the club at all. I would hate to have that hovering around. Charlie's a QPR player at the moment and he knows he has a duty to try and keep us in the division and I'm sure he's going to go about that in a professional manner. Rio's training. He's got some injuries that have been keeping him out, but fingers crossed he'll be in the squad at the weekend. Bobby's got a bad hip, he's a man that's taken a lot of bumps and bruises."

Asked whether Zamora will play this weekend, Ramsey says: "We would really love to have him fit. But the good news is we've got Leroy [Fer] fit, he's in contention for a start, I can see both players featuring in that game."
