Queens Park Rangers midfielder Joey Barton could go back on an anger management course, according to manager Chris Ramsey.
Barton received his ninth career red card for hitting Hull City's Tom Huddlestone on Saturday, and Ramsey said that he will speak to the player about a solution.
He told reporters: "[Anger management] is something I would discuss with the player and see what he is open to and wanted to do.
"He's an intelligent lad and I'm sure he would be open to anything that he thought could help him. I wouldn't push anything his way. We'll have a discussion in the cold light of day away from this incident and see where we go next."
Barton underwent behavioural management therapy in 2005.
