Marc Bircham has said that it is a "dream come true" to return to Queens Park Rangers in the role of first-team coach.
The former Loftus Road midfielder has previously been on the backroom staff of the Championship club, but after a spell with Ian Holloway at Millwall - and nearly two years in the United States - he has signed on the dotted line for another stint at the London outfit.
The 38-year-old told the club's official website: "It really is a dream come true. QPR are the only club I'd have moved back to England for and the opportunity to work with Ollie again, at a club that we both know inside-out, was just too good to turn down.
"QPR are my club. I've supported Rangers all my life and I couldn't be happier or more proud to be working alongside Ian, who gave me the best days of my professional career here."
Holloway and Bircham return to the dugout for the first time when QPR host Norwich City on Saturday afternoon.
