Steven Caulker has insisted that Queens Park Rangers have the tools to climb out of the relegation zone.
The centre-back suffered relegation with Cardiff City last season before moving to Loftus Road, but he is confident that his current club will prove their doubters wrong by the end of the season.
"We had a good team at Cardiff, but it was a shame that with the change of manager we struggled to find form after that. We dropped from something like 12th to the bottom," Caulker told reporters.
"Last year showed how much things change over the course of a long season – I think two of the bottom three teams on Christmas Day stayed up, so where we are at the moment means nothing.
"We have players who know the Premier League and a manager who is very experienced and that is a lot different from Cardiff last year."
QPR return to action against Burnley at Loftus Road on Saturday.
