Richard Dunne believes that Queens Park Rangers teammate Robert Green is one of the Premier League's finest goalkeepers, and has backed him for an England recall.
After starring in last week's 2-0 defeat at Swansea City, Green earned further plaudits for an impenetrable performance in Saturday's 2-0 win over Burnley.
The 34-year-old has not earned a Three Lions cap since May 2012, but Dunne has backed him for a return to the international scene if his stellar form continues.
"Rob's form this season has been outstanding and he's probably got a chance of getting back in the England squad the way he's going at the moment," Dunne told The Mirror.
"He's been as good as any keeper in this league."
Rangers moved out of the relegation zone and now sit 17th in the Premier League table after beating the Clarets.
