Queens Park Rangers midfielder Alejandro Faurlin has admitted that the international break came at the right time for him as he looks to regain full fitness.
The Argentinian spent nearly eight months on the sidelines before playing two games in a week after starting in the defeat at Manchester City last weekend.
However, while Faurlin is delighted to be back, he says that he is happy to concentrate on getting back to being 100% fit.
"I don't feel as sharp as before, of course. I don't yet have the tempo I had last year, but I have to be a little patient," said Faurlin.
"I know I'm not quite there yet, but I'm maybe 70-75% off my best fitness and full of confidence that I'm not far away now. The knee's been really good in the last 10 days, so I have to be happy with this.
"Probably this break will help to carry on with the improvements and put more strength in my knee."
QPR host Chelsea at the weekend.
