Queens Park Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand has told the club's supporters that they need to give head coach Chris Ramsey time in the job.
The Hoops boss has come under fire after the 4-0 defeat to Fulham on Friday, which leaves the side 13th in the Championship table with three wins from their opening nine league matches.
Ferdinand has reiterated that promotion is not the main aim for QPR this season, despite their relegation from the Premier League last term.
"It's about patience. It's about consolidation," he told West London Sport.
"People were getting excited and thinking that we're going to shoot straight back up. We've got no divine right to do that.
"As much as we'd love to do that, it's about patience, about time, about getting the right personnel, and people learning about the new philosophy of the club."
