Queens Park Rangers chairman Tony Fernandes is understood to be flying into London this week to hold talks with manager Mark Hughes over his future.
Hughes's job at Loftus Road is under more pressure than ever after the R's were beaten 3-1 by fellow strugglers Southampton on Saturday.
Fernandes, who was in Texas this weekend with his Lotus team for the United States Grand Prix, will return to Britain in the next few days, according to The Mirror.
QPR currently sit at the bottom of the Premier League table and are without a win from their opening 12 matches.
