Park Ji-Sung has admitted that he is enjoying his first pre-season tour with Queens Park Rangers.
The former South Korea international recently joined the R's following a seven-year stint with Manchester United.
As he prepares for the club's friendly against Sabah Select XI in Kota Kinabalu later today, the 31-year-old has expressed his hope that his teammates will put on a good show for the Asian crowd.
"I've been to Asia a few times with Manchester United, but this is the first with QPR," he told the club's official website. "It's so far, so good. The organisation and the fans have been fantastic. I'm looking forward to the rest of the tour.
"Hopefully many fans will come to the stadium tonight to watch the game and we can show them quality football at a Premier League level.
"The Asian fans are always very excited and enthusiastic and it's great to get the energy from them."
Park is believed to be a contender to be handed the QPR captaincy for the new season.
