Queens Park Rangers have announced that they will carry out a full investigation in relation to Joey Barton's dismissal and subsequent actions during Sunday's clash with Manchester City.
The 29-year-old midfielder has been charged by the FA with two acts of alleged violent conduct following an altercation with Carlos Tevez, which gave him his marching orders.
He also clashed with Vincent Kompany, Sergio Aguero and Mario Balotelli as he left the pitch at the Etihad.
It is understood that the investigation will be carried out following the conclusion of his FA hearing, but the club will be not be making any furher comment at this stage.
