Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed his delight at his side's late goal to secure three points against Ipswich Town.
With time running out at Loftus Road and the game heading for a draw, Tom Hitchcock came off the bench to score after Scott Loach could only parry Charlie Austin's effort.
"Charlie [Austin] could have scored four goals today with a bit more luck," Redknapp told QPR's official website.
"But luckily enough, he scuffed one across the face of goal and young Tom came on and stuck the ball away. It was great for him."
"We're still looking to improve the team and build the squad," Redknapp added. "We're trying very hard and I think we'll do so over the next couple of weeks."
QPR were relegated from the Premier League at the end of last season.
