Queens Park Rangers boss Harry Redknapp has backed new signing Jordon Mutch to improve at the club.
The 22-year-old midfielder joined QPR on a four-year deal from Cardiff City on Tuesday.
Having impressed with the Bluebirds in the top flight last season, Redknapp is confident that the youngster will have a positive impact at Loftus Road this term.
"Jordon's a fine young player, with a big, big future," he told the club's official website. "He's already shown what he can do at this level with Cardiff last season with a decent goals return – and this move will provide him with a great platform to take his game on to the next level.
"He wants to learn and improve his game. He's a good professional with a great attitude and this is a big opportunity for him at QPR."
The R's mark their return to the Premier League next Saturday when they host Hull City.
