Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has insisted that Adel Taarabt still has a future at the club, despite openly questioning the midfielder's fitness.
Redknapp recently accused Taarabt of being three stone overweight, an allegation that the Moroccan then disputed.
However, the Hoops boss has hinted that there could still be a future for Taarabt at Loftus Road.
"He can still play a part in the future if he gets himself fit," Redknapp told Sky Sports News.
"All I ask people to do every day is come in, train, be thankful for being a professional footballer and work hard.
"God gave him a fantastic talent, I just hope he doesn't waste it. If he's fit and ready to play, he's a great talent."
