Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has admitted that his side were left hanging on against a determined Bolton Wanderers in their 2-1 victory at Loftus Road.
The Hoops raced into a two-goal lead with goals either side of half time courtesy of Charlie Austin and Karl Henry, though Bolton pulled one back late on through Jay Spearing to leave Harry Redknapp's men sweating.
"We found ourselves 1-0 up at half time without creating too much. In the end we were hanging on a bit," Redknapp told reporters after tonight's match.
"It was another tight game, and we didn't play as fluently as I'd like us to play. We were by no means at our best again but we're scrapping for every ball, working hard, clawing out results and getting closer to that finish line if we can."
QPR are next in action on Saturday lunchtime, when they face third-placed Burnley.
