Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has confirmed that new striker Loic Remy will play against West Ham United this weekend.
The two Premier League sides go head to head at Upton Park tomorrow and Redknapp has decided to use this fixture as the France forward's debut match.
The 26-year-old finalised a switch to Loftus Road on Wednesday, despite originally planning to move to Newcastle United, and Redknapp confirmed in a press conference today that Remy will be in the team for tomorrow's clash.
The 65-year-old also revealed that he tried to sign the Frenchman while he was manager of Tottenham Hotspur last season.
