Queens Park Rangers have picked up their first victory of pre-season after beating Besiktas 1-0.
Bobby Zamora's 65th-minute goal was enough to give his side the win in the first match of the Hoops' tour to Austria.
QPR's first chance of the game came on 26 minutes when Junior Hoilett's strike from 18 yards was saved by goalkeeper Cenk Gonen.
Besiktas almost took the lead two minutes later when Manuel Fernandes's set piece was headed wide by Tomas Sivok.
Fernandes went close a minute before the break but his free kick flew just over the bar.
In the second half QPR began to control possession but struggled to find the breakthrough as Besiktas's defence held out.
QPR finally beat Gonen when Zamora nodded home Hoilett's cross after Andy Johnson had narrowly missed an opportunity to score.
Besiktas pushed for an equaliser, coming close when Dentinho was played through on goal, but the Brazilian was forced wide for a goal kick.
