Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that defender Jose Bosingwa has left the club by mutual consent.
The Portuguese full-back was reportedly one of the highest earners at Loftus Road and the club were happy to allow the former Chelsea man to leave.
A statement released on the club's official website read: "Defender Jose Bosingwa has left QPR by mutual consent. The 30 year-old joined the R's as a free agent last summer.
"He went on to make 23 starts and one substitute appearance in all competitions, scoring one goal."
Bosingwa had a high-profile falling out with manager Harry Redknapp last season, the boss claiming that his player did not wish to be named as a substitute in a game against Fulham in December.
