Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that Niko Kranjcar could return to the club if the price is right.
The 29-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Loftus Road from Dynamo Kiev, where he helped the Hoops secure promotion to the Premier League.
Redknapp believes that the Croatia international would add quality to his squad ahead of QPR's return to the top flight.
"I like Niko. If he's free," Redknapp told talkSPORT. "There's a deal to be done with his club on his wages. He wants to come back here.
"He can play Premier League football, there's no doubt about it. They're the type of players we need – players with a bit of quality.
"They are still talking to his club. I think his agent is looking at it and can do a deal that suits the club. He would like to come and will take a massive drop in wages to come back here. He enjoys it and is a good lad."
Kranjcar scored three goals in 35 appearances for QPR last season.
