Queens Park Rangers are said to be considering launching a bid to sign Shanghai Shenhua forward Nicolas Anelka.
The 33-year-old is reportedly unsettled in China and keen to return to the Premier League.
While Anelka's high wage demands are likely to deter most English clubs from making an offer, QPR chairman Tony Fernandes could be willing to fork out for the former Chelsea star in an attempt to help his club avoid relegation, according to The Sun.
West Ham United have also recently been credited with an interest in Anelka.
