Queens Park Rangers will reportedly tempt Southend United with a fresh offer for goalkeeper Daniel Bentley when the transfer window reopens.
The 22-year-old was the subject of three failed bids during the summer, the last of which is thought to have been in the region of £1.25m.
According to Get West London, Hoops boss Chris Ramsey has not given up hope of landing the Englishman, despite bringing in Alex Smithies from Huddersfield Town to provide back-up to Rob Green.
That could see the Championship outfit make a fourth - and final - approach for Bentley, whose current Roots Hall deal is due to expire next summer.
