Queens Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has reportedly promised to provide manager Harry Redknapp with a £20m transfer kitty for use in the January window.
The Hoops will start 2013 bottom of the Premier League table and eight points from safety.
However, Redknapp has insisted that his team can "get out of trouble" if they manage to bring in "the right players".
According to the Daily Mail, Redknapp has told Fernandes that he would like to spend his budget on Rennes midfielder Yann M'Vila, Marseille forward Loic Remy and West Ham United's Mohamed Diame.
QPR, who lost 3-0 at home to Liverpool yesterday, will begin the New Year with a trip to Chelsea on Wednesday.
