Queens Park Rangers manager Harry Redknapp has revealed that he does not want to wait until the end of the January transfer window to sign new players.
The 65-year-old has a reputation for conducting his business up until the last moment of deadline day, but this time he is keen to be more efficient.
"We really need to be doing our business right at the start of January," Redknapp told reporters.
"We can't wait. The chairman is going to have to bite the bullet and get on with what we have got to do. Otherwise we will be waiting for something that might never happen."
Redknapp recently admitted that he would be interested in bringing former Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka to Loftus Road.
