Queens Park Rangers are apparently ready to swoop for Dimitar Berbatov after learning that the striker wants to return to the Premier League.
The former Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United star left Fulham for Monaco in January 2014 and has scored 12 goals in 27 Ligue 1 games for the club.
Although they have improved to climb to fifth in the table, Monaco have struggled to compete with France's top clubs this season and Berbatov is ready to leave.
The Daily Star claims that he could be available for as little as £1m and QPR would be willing to pay his £70,000-a-week salary as Harry Redknapp desperately seeks striking support for Charlie Austin.
Redknapp worked with the Bulgarian at Spurs, where he scored 44 goals in 102 games. The 33-year-old also found the net 56 times for United and on 20 occasions for Fulham during his eight years in England.
