Queens Park Rangers have reportedly had a bid turned down by Norwich City for their midfielder Leroy Fer.
Netherlands international Fer only arrived at Carrow Road from FC Twente last summer, but following the club's relegation to the Championship, he is expected to move on before the transfer window closes at the end of August.
QPR boss Harry Redknapp is known to be an admirer of Fer's ability, but he will have to up the recent offer that he submitted to Norwich for the 24-year-old's services, according to West London Sport.
Meanwhile, reports in the Netherlands have claimed that the Canaries have told potential suitors that they value Fer at £6m.
