Report: Queens Park Rangers, West Ham United to battle for Abdoulay Konko

A report claims that Lazio defender Abdoulay Konko is a transfer target for both Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United.

Queens Park Rangers and West Ham United will reportedly go head to head for the signing of Lazio defender Abdoulay Konko in January.

The 30-year-old, who started his professional career with Juventus, has been with Lazio since 2011.

During his career, the Frenchman has had plenty of top-level experience, representing the likes of Siena, Genoa and Sevilla.

According to The Mirror, both QPR and West Ham want to sign the full-back, who is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.

Konko's current Lazio deal expires in 2016.
