Neither Raith Rovers nor Alloa Athletic have been able to make the breakthrough in the first half in the Scottish Championship.
The home side shaded proceedings in the early stages and Ross Callachan had a couple of efforts inside the opening 10 minutes before Craig Wighton went close.
Alloa began to get more of a foothold in the game and David Crawford and Geoff Mitchell both had shots before the half-hour mark.
Alloa goalkeeper David Crawford was called into action to deny the home side twice in as many minutes, before Kevin Cuthbert denied the visitors up the other end with a smart save.
