Rangers have gone into half time of their Scottish League One match against Forfar Athletic locked at 0-0.
Forfar came within inches of breaking the deadlock in just the fourth minute when Martyn Fotheringham's cross was met by Odmar Faeroe at the back post, but the defender's looping header came back off the crossbar.
It wasn't long before the visitors began threatening, however, with Nicholas Law chesting the ball down and volleying a fine effort towards goal that Robert Douglas had to deal with.
Dean Shiels had a decent sight of goal in the 26th minute when he drove to the edge of the box, only to send his low strike wide of the near post.
Rangers came close again on the stroke of half time as a scramble ensued following a shot into a crowded area, but Douglas just about did enough to hold onto the ball as the sides went into the break all square.
