Rangers midfielder Joey Barton has reportedly been signed off with stress since Friday.
The 34-year-old returned to training last Thursday after serving a suspension for his involvement in a training ground bust-up with teammate Andy Halliday.
Barton, who has not played since the Gers' 5-1 defeat to arch rivals Celtic on September 10, was ordered to train with the academy players upon his return rather than with the first team.
According to Sky Sports News, after spending one day back, Barton was signed off with stress and has not been seen at the training base since.
The 34-year-old, who joined the Scottish outfit on a two-year deal in May, has played just eight games for Rangers since his arrival at the club.
