Rangers have set a date of March 6 for their crunch Extraordinary General Meeting, which is to be held at Ibrox.
The cash-strapped outfit had initially planned to hold the key talks at a London venue in order to avoid a hostile reception like the one experienced prior to the last meeting in December.
However, two hotels cancelled the Gers' booking earlier this week, forcing the club to announce that the EGM will now take place at their home ground due to "threats".
A statement to the Stock Exchange this morning read: "Pursuant to the announcement made on February 18, 2015, the board announces that the requisitioned general meeting will have to be adjourned to 11am on March 6 2015 at Ibrox Stadium."
The meeting is seen as being crucial to the future of Rangers, as the composition of the board is decided.
