Veteran striker Daniel Cousin has been linked with a return to Glasgow Rangers.
The 35-year-old is currently playing for Sapins in his native Gabon. However, under the terms of his contract he is free to leave the club should he strike a deal with a European club.
Cousin's agent Willie McKay was recently spotted holding discussions with members of the Rangers board, although the content of the talks is not known.
Rangers boss Ally McCoist has admitted that he needs to add a centre-forward to his squad, having sold Nikica Jelavic last month.
"We definitely, definitely need to strengthen, if we can, in the forward area," the manager told Blue News.
Cousin scored 11 goals during his first stint at Ibrox.
