Rangers manager Ally McCoist has admitted that the club's budget will force him to look mainly for free transfers in the summer.
The Gers secured the Scottish Third division title on Saturday as they look to make their way back to the SPL.
However, McCoist concedes that while Rangers are looking to add players at the end of the season, they will many be those who occupy the free agent pool.
"I know what's required to be done next at the club and I, with the help of others, will get us there," McCoist told the Daily Record. "Our internal situation won't have changed much.
"I'll still be going after free transfers and asking players to sign for Rangers when we still don't know which division we'll be playing in.
"There are those who won't fancy that idea, but they'll all be free transfers."
Rangers are currently restricted by a transfer embargo.
