Rangers reportedly see a £200,000 bid for centre-forward Kyle Lafferty rejected by Hearts.

Rangers have reportedly seen a £200,000 bid for centre-forward Kyle Lafferty rejected by Hearts.

Lafferty scored 38 times in 138 appearances for Rangers between 2008 and 2012 before joining Swiss outfit Sion, and he has also since represented Palermo, Norwich City, Caykur Rizespor and Birmingham City.

The 67-time Northern Ireland international has been with Hearts since June 2017, and scored 19 times in 44 appearances for the Scottish outfit during the 2017-18 campaign.

According to Sky Sports News, Rangers launched a £200,000 bid in the hope of bringing the 30-year-old back to Ibrox, but Hearts quickly rejected the offer as they are desperate to keep him.

Scott Arfield, Jon Flanagan and Jamie Murphy are among the 10 new players to have arrived at Rangers this summer.
