Rangers have completed the loan signing of 20-year-old Colombian Oscar Cortes from Lens.
The Scottish Premiership side have signed Cortes on a loan deal until the end of the season, with an option to make the move permanent in the summer.
"I am very honoured and privileged to be signing for Rangers," Cortes told the club's official website.
"I have heard a lot about the history and tradition of Rangers, and I have had positive conversations with the manager who said I can help the team reach their goals this season.
"I am really excited to join up with my teammates and hopefully exciting the fans with my style of play."
Cortes has become Rangers' third signing of the winter transfer window following the arrivals of Fabio Silva and Mohamed Diomande on loan deals from Wolverhampton Wanderers and Nordsjaelland respectively.
Commenting on the move, Rangers manager Philippe Clement said: "I am really delighted to add Oscar to our squad.
"Our discussions have been really positive, and I believe he will be a big asset to the squad as we fight across three fronts for the remainder of this season.
"Oscar is really enthusiastic about our aims and ambitions as a team, and his skillset will provide welcome competition to our forward line."
Cortes rose through the youth ranks at Colombian side Millonarios, before going on to score seven goals in 28 appearances for the first team.
The youngster's impressive performances earned him a summer move to French side Lens, where he signed a contract until June 2028.
However, Cortes has struggled to gain regular game time in his first season with the club, having failed to make a start for the senior side.
Despite being restricted to four substitute appearances, Cortes scored his first goal for Lens in a 2-0 victory over Reims in December.
The versatile attacker has also been recognised by his national side after making his Colombia debut against Iraq in June 2023. body check tags ::
