Real Valladolid scored three times in 17 minutes either side of half time to beat Rayo Vallecano in Madrid and secure their first La Liga victory in seven matches.
The hosts had won their previous two games to climb out of the relegation zone, and above their opponents, but their leaky defence folded after half-an-hour as Valladolid netted a quick treble.
Patrick Ebert opened the scoring with his second goal in as many games, taking control of a loose ball before finding the top corner from just outside of the box on 31 minutes.
Valladolid's advantage was doubled eight minutes later, when Javi Guerra travelled with the ball into the box and shot low past Rayo goalkeeper Ruben for his fifth goal of the season.
Daniel Larsson scored three minutes after the interval to put the game beyond Vallecano, who now have the worst defensive record in La Liga, having conceded 24 goals in 10 matches.
The Swedish striker capitalised on a mistake to round Ruben and tuck the ball into the net, securing the visitors just their second win this term, and one that sees them leapfrog Rayo to 13th in the table.
