Rayo Vallecano have moved up to seventh place in the La Liga table with a 3-0 victory over Levante at the Estadio Teresa Rivero.
Following a frantic, but goalless, first half, the deadlock was broken in spectacular style with an hour played as Nacho Martinez found the net with an unstoppable 35-yard strike.
The home side looked the more likely to score the next goal and they did in equally eye-catching fashion with 10 minutes left to play through Piti's screamer.
Vallecano then sealed the win deep in injury time when Franco Vazquez converted from close range.
A sixth defeat of the season has seen Levante slip down to sixth place in the standings.
