Rayo Vallecano have unveiled their latest signing Zhang Chengdong, who could become the first Chinese player to play in La Liga.

It was reported last week that the Spanish outfit had secured the 26-year-old's signature on a long-term deal from Beijing Guoan.

The transfer has now been confirmed as Rayo touched down in China for the Asian leg of their pre-season tour this summer.

'Dudu' has managed just two league goals in 40 appearances for Guoan, while he has not scored in 18 games for his country.

The striker has previously played in both Portugal and Germany.
