Reading secured their place in the next round of the FA Cup with a dominant 4-0 victory over Sheffield United this afternoon.
Reading took the lead after just six minutes when Noel Hunt climbed well to head home a Hal Robson-Kanu cross.
The Blades responded well and almost equalised through Chris Porter, but the forward could only direct his header wide.
Mikele Leigertwood then doubled the Royals' lead on 39 minutes with a trademark left-foot strike from 20 yards out.
Hunt scored his second of the game after 49 minutes, getting on the end of a cross and scuffing the ball past George Long to make it 3-0.
Garath McCleary added a fourth after 53 minutes, calmly finishing with his left foot to put the game way beyond the visitors.
The away side almost pulled a goal back through Nick Blackman, but his low drive was cleared off the line by Stephen Kelly.
