Reading defender Michael Hector has revealed that talks over extending his contract with the club are ongoing.
Hector's current deal is due to expire at the end of the season, but the 21-year-old hopes to stay at the Madejski Stadium.
"They are still in talks. I don't really know where it's at," Hector told the Reading Post.
"My agent and the club are dealing with that. I'm just concentrating on my football. That's why I've got an agent.
"If I was doing it myself then I probably would be worrying about it, but that's his job and hopefully he sorts it out."
Hector spent the first half of the season on loan at Aberdeen, before returning to Reading in January. The Royals are unbeaten in all six games in which he has featured.
