Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has denied that Martin Odegaard could make his Los Blancos debut against Schalke 04 on Tuesday evening.
The 16-year-old joined the Spanish outfit from Stromsgodset in January and has impressed during his time with Real Madrid Castilla.
It had been reported that the wonderkid could feature in the last-16 Champions League second leg against Schalke, but Ancelotti has denied such talk.
"He's not in the list; he's doing well with Castilla. I don't know how close he is to becoming a part of the first team," Ancelotti told reporters when questioned on the teenager.
Odegaard is said to be earning £80,000 a week at Real Madrid despite only turning 16 last December.
