Real Madrid boss Carlo Ancelotti has hinted that Sergio Ramos could again start in midfield in Wednesday's Champions League semi-final second leg against Juventus.
The Spaniard has been deployed in a midfield role over the last couple of weeks due to an injury to Luka Modric, but the centre-back struggled in the first leg against Juve last week – a game that Real Madrid lost 2-1.
It had been suggested that Ancelotti's midfield experiment with Ramos had now ended, but the Italian has admitted that he is considering a similar role for the defender in the second leg.
"I have not ruled it out. It is a possibility," Ancelotti told reporters at a press conference.
Real Madrid are attempting to become the first team in the modern era to successfully defend the Champions League.
