Paris Saint-Germain's president Nasser Al-Khelaifi reportedly attempted to storm into the referee's room and broke equipment following Wednesday's Champions League exit to Real Madrid.
Boasting a 1-0 lead from the first leg, Kylian Mbappe put PSG 2-0 up on aggregate before a Karim Benzema hat-trick saw Les Parisiens suffer another collapse in Europe's elite competition.
PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino felt aggrieved when PSG were not awarded a free kick for a perceived foul by Benzema on Gianluigi Donnarumma, with the Frenchman equalizing after the Italian shot-stopper took too long to clear the ball.
According to the referee's report from the game, Al-Khelaifi "behaved aggressively and tried to enter the referee's dressing room. When the referee asked them to leave, the president hit a piece of the assistant's equipment, breaking it."
A Real Madrid employee is understood to have recorded the event, with UEFA now set to investigate any possible punishments for the PSG owner.
PSG have now been dumped out of the Champions League in the last-16 in four of the past six seasons and only have the Ligue 1 title left to fight for this season. body check tags ::
