Sergio Ramos has called on Real Madrid supporters to help the club's bid to reach the semi-finals of the Champions League.
Los Blancos played out a 0-0 draw at Atletico Madrid in the first leg of their quarter-final on Tuesday, leaving the tie delicately poised ahead of the return match.
The relationship between the Real Madrid team and the supporters has been fractured at points this season, but Ramos believes that they have a key role to play next Wednesday.
"In the end we've come away with a 0-0 draw and with the advantage of playing the second leg at the Bernabéu in front of our home fans. We urge the fans to go and support us and experience a unique atmosphere to try to get through to the next round," Ramos told his club's official website.
Real Madrid are attempting to become the first team in the modern era to successfully defend the Champions League.
