Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos has joked that Iker Casillas wanted to 'kill him' after the goalkeeper left the field following an accidental collision with his teammate in last night's 6-1 Champions League victory over Galatasaray.
It was Casillas's first competitive action for Los Blancos this season, as coach Carlo Ancelotti has preferred Diego Lopez in goal.
"Someone wanted to kill me today," the 27-year-old Ramos wrote on his Facebook page. "Luckily the injury is not serious and Iker will return soon."
It was revealed after the game that Casillas's injury is not as bad as first feared, and that he will be available for selection again before the end of the week.
